I was so sorry to read about your husband's passing in the paper. I did not know him, but I loved the picture posted with his obituary...he looked like a character, for sure! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time of mourning.

My condolences to the family. My mother, Anna M. Parks (nee Chepeska) was a graduate of North Branch High School Class of 1938 and knew Lloyd's brother, Dan Orr. I had the opportunity to meet Dan at the 50-year reunion in 1988. My mother always spoke very highly of the Orr family and the honest, compassionate, and fair way it dealt with the residents of North Branch. My sympathies at this difficult time.

The harsh elements of Time claims another great North Brancher, always enjoyed walking in the Hardware from an early age and meeting the Orr's, Pres always had a good story or comment. Sorry to see these Legends go.

Though this was expected it still leaves us speechless at such a great loss to our North Branch community. His knowledge as well as his wish to preserve the history of North Branch will be dearly missed. We love all the Orr family and wish we could be present at some of the services. When we first moved to North Branch Preston solved our issue of the recurring hot water heater breakdown by telling us to remove the magnesium rod. This was the first of many problems solved by this wonderful man. Thank you Lord for his life and presence among us for so many years. In much admiration, Mike and Pam

Pres was truly a Blessing and an inspiration from God. I learned a lot from Pres and pray to God for comfort for the family and community. This is only temporary until we meet again.
