William “Bill” V. Robinet, 68, of North Branch passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Bill was born on December 10, 1956 in Marlette, the son of Carl and Pauline (Wendling) Robinet. Bill lived his entire life in the North Branch area and was a 1975 graduate of North Branch High School. He retired from the Caro Center, where he worked as a nurse’s aide.
Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, gardening and taking care of his chickens. He was a fixer upper.
Bill is survived by his siblings, George (Elaine) Robinet, Rose Shoemaker, Thomas Robinet, nieces and nephews, David Shoemaker, Deanna Shoemaker, Daniel Shoemaker, Kevin Robinet, Keith Robinet, Christine Hallwood and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Cecilia Marie and brother-in-law, David Shoemaker.
The family will be present for visitation on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. There will be no formal funeral service. Bill will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Burnside Cemetery on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 1:00 P.M.
