William "Bill" J Petitt

William J. Petitt, age 58, of North Branch passed away peacefully June 1, 2023, with family by his side.  Bill was born on September 15, 1964, in Lapeer MI, son of Carl and Lequita (Godwin) Petitt.  He was a 1983 graduate of North Branch High School. On September 13, 1986 he married his high school sweetheart Natalie Kay, in Mayville Michigan at the Pleasant View Free Methodist Church.

Throughout his life Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding and wood working.  He also enjoyed auctions, flea markets and card playing and let’s not forget playing Pac-man. One of Bills greatest passions in his life was spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife: Natalie, daughters: Natasha (Marcus) Rutledge, Larissa (Terry) Naracon, grandchildren: Reza, Raquel, Ava, Baby Conway, bothers: Carl Petitt, Shane (Beth) Petitt, David (Rachel) Petitt, mother and father in-law Henry and Shelby Kay, sister and brother in- law Annette and Steve Chapman and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lequita Petitt, his grandparents and special Aunt Leota Swinson.

Visitation for Bill will be Saturday, June 3, 2023, 4:00 P.M- 8:00 P.M, Sunday, June 4, 2023, 1:00 P.M- 7:00 P.M and Monday, June 5,2023, 10:00 A.M-11:00 A.M, with the funeral services at 11:00 A.M.; all at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Pastor Brent Jerome will be officiating.  Burial will be at the West Lawn Cemetery, North Branch Michigan.
