Obituary

Wade Collum, of North Branch, born on December 24, 1972, and passed away on June 5, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and humor that will forever be remembered by his family and friends.

Wade was born to his loving parents, Robert and Marion (Myers) Collum, and was the second youngest of their four children. He grew up in St. Claire Shores, Michigan, where he attended and graduated from South Lake High School in 1991. He went on to pursue a successful career at Chrysler as a valued employee.

Wade was a devoted father who cherished his two children, Wade Jr. and Isabella. He deeply loved spending time with his family and he was always there to support and encourage them through every milestone.

Wade, described by those who knew him as having a laugh you could never forget, had a boundless smile and a kind word or a joke for everyone he met. His spirit of kindness and compassion will long be remembered by all who were lucky enough to cross his path.

Unfortunately, in his the later years, he was diagnosed with diabetes and though he kept battling, eventually succumbed to his disease. His passing has left a void in the hearts of everyone who knew him, and he will be sorely missed.

Wade Collum’s impact on the world was immeasurable, and he leaves behind his loving family and friends. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to live on through all those he touched during his lifetime.
