Vivian (Robbins) Bader

Vivian Bader, age 88, of North Branch passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at her home. Vivian was born on July 14, 1935, the daughter of Arnie and Jean (Reade) Robbins. She grew up in Royal Oak and Clawson before settling in North Branch.  She was a 1953 graduate of North Branch High School. On April 21, 1956, she married Glenn Bader in St. Mary’s Burnside Catholic Church. She worked as a fiberglass finisher but most of all she was a farmer’s wife and homemaker. Vivian enjoyed sewing wedding apparel, flower gardens, crafts and puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and family vacations. She was a member of St. Mary’s Burnside Catholic Church.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Teresa Bader, her son, Tom (Val) Bader, her daughter-in-law, Renae Bader, her grandchildren, Angela (Andrew) Smith, Melissa (Jerome) Grzanka, Samantha Bader, Felicia (Nate) Warren, Jon Smith, Cody (Roslyn) Bader and Hannah Bader, her great-grandchildren, Sierra, Chenoa, Emma and Lincoln, many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Alan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Burnside Catholic Church.

Visitation for Vivian will be on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. with Divine Mercy at 4:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Wednesday, August 30, 2023 visitation will be at St. Mary’s Burnside Catholic Church 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Sama Muma will officiate. Vivian will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary’s Burnside Cemetery.
