Timothy "Tim" Snyder Obituary

Timothy “Tim” C. Snyder, 62, of Otter Lake passed away at his home on June 6, 2026. Tim was born on February 2, 1964, in Livonia, the son of Charles and Anne (Galbraith) Snyder. Tim grew up in the North Branch area. He spent most of his life as a coast to coast household furniture mover. He worked for all of the major van lines. If you would have asked him what his favorite place of employment was, he would have said Allen Storage and Moving, Allied Van Lines out of Flint Michigan. He also worked as a coast to coast car hauler transporting many famous people’s automobiles. His most recent employment was at Attentive Industries out of Flint, Michigan as a heavy hauler truck drivers, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hot rods. He was especially proud of and loved his corvette. He was also a member of the Rhythm Rodder’s Car Club of Otter Lake, Michigan. Tim enjoyed spending time at the car club and also spending time with his family and friend on our many road trips. Tim was especially proud of all his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed helping the boys with their project vehicles.

Tim is survived by his wife, Laury, daughter, Shannon (Eric) Herd, bonus daughter, Jennifer Anderson, mother, Anne Snyder, sisters, Debbie (Joe) Butterfield, Terri (Paul) Pettibone, grandchildren, Grant Herd, Vance Herd, Clinton Herd, Weston Herd, bonus grandchildren, John Anderson, Christofer Anderson, many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Snyder and daughter, Amanda May.

Cremation has been entrusted to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date.
