Timothy Earl Goltry

Timothy Earl Goltry, 60 years old of Lapeer County went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2022. Tim was born in Lake Orion, Michigan on February 17, 1962. He lived with his Grandma Ila in Millington for many years and graduated from Highland Pines School in Caro. Later, Tim worked for Team Work in Lapeer and enjoyed his job very much. He enjoyed swimming, music, puzzles and  competing in the Special  Olympics. Tim was a joy and blessing to all who knew him.

Tim is survived by his sisters, Anna Marie (Dan) Hembree, her son, Nathan and  Yvonne (David) Plentis, her sons, Nicolas and Casey, his Uncle David (Jan) Jones, his daughter, Janna, Aunt Norma (Ken) Stuemke,  her son, Chad and daughter, Nicole, his Aunt Deborah (Brian) Bowman, her daughter, Heather and grandson, Austin and Uncle Eddie Jones. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Goltry and Ruth Ann Powell, his brother, Norman Goltry, his grandparents, Norman and Mildred Jones and Ila and Larry Heath, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

To honor Tim’s memory the family will be holding a celebration of his life on July 9, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Simple Truth Church (The Red Barn) at 7722 N.  Lapeer Road, Fostoria, Michigan.  Tim will be buried in the Masonic Cemetery, Raleigh, Illinois at a later date. If you are able we invite you to make a donation to Special Olympics in Tim’s honor in lieu of flowers.
