Thomas “Tom” Harmon, 71 of North Branch passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. Tom was born on May 18, 1953, in Mt. Clemens, MI, the son of Claude (Cob) and Inez (Plagens) Harmon. He grew up in the Richmond area and was a 1971 graduate of Richmond High School. On July 19, 1986, Tom married Maria Rogers at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in North Branch. He was owner of Harmon Oil & Propane and Cob-Ash Trucking.
Tom enjoyed his tractor cruises and side by side rides, traveling with Maria in their motor home. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the time spent with his nieces and nephews.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Maria, son, Gregory Harmon, daughters, Erica (Jacinda Santora) Harmon, Molly (Renesha Reynolds) Harmon, sister, Claudia Jakubiak, brother, Tim (Ellen) Harmon, mother-in-law, Victoria Rogers, the Rogers family, many nieces, nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Patrick and his wife, Laura, brother-in-law, Tom Jakubiak and father-in-law, Stanley Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital, 2770 Main St., P.O. Box 307, Marlette, Mi 48453-0307.
The family invites you to a gathering on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 10:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M. with Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in North Branch. Rev. Sama Muma and Rev. Richard Treml will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Tom’s memorial tractor and side by side cruise will take place on September 21, 2024.
