Thomas "Tom" Joseph Cichoracki

Thomas “Tom” Joseph Cichoracki, age 81, of North Branch passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his home.  Tom was born on September 8, 1940 in Mt Clemens, MI, the son of Joseph and Marion (Smith) Cichoracki.  Tom grew up in the Five Lakes area and was a 1958 graduate of Lapeer High School. Tom worked at General Motors and retired after 44 years as a skilled tradesman.  Most of all, Tom loved being a farmer and was a true John Deere green guy. Tom was a member of the local Lapeer County Moose Lodge 2433, Elks Lodge 2567 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2427. He enjoyed bowling and playing euchre. Tom was a proud supporter of the Lapeer County 4-H.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Kim (Rich) Griffin, Anita (David) Taylor and Lisa (Aaron) Yamanaka, his 8 grandchildren, Brandy, Brian, Samantha, Erik, Brendan, Brooke, Tanisha and Collin  and his great-grandson, Clapton, his brothers, David (Pam) Cichoracki,and  Stan (Debbie) Cichoracki, his sisters, Elsie Cichoracki, Josephine Cichoracki, Marion (Richard) Haack, Elizabeth Morris and Judy Cichoracki, his sister-in-law, Brenda Cichoracki, many nieces and nephews.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Debra Vroman, his brother, Chuck Cichoracki.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed the Juvenile Diabetes and Arthritis Foundation.

The family will be present for visitation on Thursday, July 28, 2022, 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  On Friday, July 29, 2022, visitation will be 10 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at SS Peter & Paul Pavilion, 6645 Washington Street, North Branch. Deacon Peter Lynch will be officiating.
