Tammie Elizabeth Kile, age 62, of North Branch passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital. Tammie was born on December 26, 1960 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Bennie and Lois (Berry) Holt. Tammie spent her younger years in Alabama and Tennessee and moved to Michigan when she was 14. She married Fred Kile on January 13, 1996. Tammie was a homemaker. She loved taking care of her children. She enjoyed collecting antiques, watching soap operas, listening to windchimes. She loved her dog, Teddy Bear, horses and all animals plus flowers, lilies were her favorite. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. In her children’s words, they remember her as “loving,” “a fighter,” “stubborn,” “caring,” and “strongly witted.”
Tammie is survived by her husband, Fred; her children, April (Roger) Kime. Travis (aka huckleberry) Kile, Trevor (aka peanut) Kile, Tessa Kile, Tonya ( Jordan Nagy-aka huckleberry jr) Kile; her grandchildren,Chantz, Skyler, Samatha, Payton, Pauline and Joslynn (aka Boss Girl); her sister, Tina Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Stanley Boyd and her nephew, Benjamin Boyd.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
The family will be present for visitation on Sunday, December 10, 2023, 12:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.
