Stephen "Steve" A. Kreger

Stephen “Steve” Kreger, 71, of Fostoria passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital. Steve was born on February 26, 1953, in  Marlette, the son of William and Leota ((George) Kreger. Steve attended North Branch High School and was a 1971 graduate. He married Susan Schell on December 30, 1972. Steve was a machinist at North Branch Manufacturing in Fostoria. Steve loved life, mowing his grass, cutting wood, worked with his hot rods, trucks and cars.

Steve is survived by his wife, Susan, his sons, Vinton Kreger and Jeff Kreger, his granddaughter, Avia Jean, his sister, Judy (Art) Kapa, his brother, Scott (Stacey) Woods. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

The family will be present for visitation on Thursday, December 19, 2024, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On December 20, 2024, visitation will be 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Pastor David Freeland will officiate. Steve will be laid to rest at West Deerfield Cemetery.
