Skyler Austin Reeves

Skyler A. Reeves, age 23, of North Branch passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Skyler was born on August 30, 1997 in Flint, MI, the son of Todd and Jeannette (Gruno) Reeves. He grew up in the North Branch area and was a 2015 graduate of North Branch High School.  Skyler worked for Quality Industrial Services as a heating and cooling engineer.  He was a member of Country Christian Church. Skyler loved life to the fullest-riding in motorcross  races, hunting, fishing, jet skiing,  and riding his side by side. He was a camp leader for FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Motorcross.  Skyler was a social butterfly. He would start up a conversation with anybody, He had a huge heart. Skyler was known as “Skypy with the pretty eyes.”

Skyler is survived by his parents, Todd and Jeannette Reeves; his sister, Jessica (Jarrad) Buckner; his nephew, Jaxton Skyler Buckner; his grandmothers, Alice Reeves and Nancy Gruno; many aunts, uncles and cousins; many special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Herbert Reeves and Bill Gruno.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Visitation for Skyler will be on Saturday, October 31, 2020, 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at  Country Christian Church, 5677 N. Lapeer Road, North Branch.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Dale Lautzenheiser officiating.  Cremation to follow.
