Shirley Marie (Smith) Snoblen

Shirley Snoblen, age 70, of North Branch passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019, at her home with her family by her side. Shirley was born on May 22, 1949, in Clifford, MI, the daughter of Lewis R. and Ruby Mae (Blackmer) Smith.  Shirley grew up in North Branch and was a 1967 graduate of North Branch High School.

Shirley married Richard Snoblen on August 26, 1967 at SS Peter& Paul Catholic Church in North Branch. They celebrated 52 years of marriage.  She enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts, camping, shopping, baking, gardening and her flower garden.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Tina Snoblen, Timothy (Karen) Snoblen, Tara Riedel and Terry (Bobbi Jo) Snoblen ; her grandchildren, Amanda (Bill) Schuman, Shawna (Bryn) Ludlow, Aryssa Snoblen, Joshua Snoblen, Brandon Riedel, Carly Riedel, Mikenny Snoblen, Gaiddyn Snoblen and Jastynn Snoblen; great-grandchildren Jayden and Trinity Schuman and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Dorine Smith, Eva Case, Della Harley, Ralph Smith and Lewis W. Smith.

The family will be present for visitation on Sunday, January 5, 2020, 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with rosary at 7:00 P.M. On Monday, January 6, 2020   visitation for Shirley will be at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in North Branch  10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at  11:00 A.M.   Rev.  Richard Treml  will be officiating.
