Sheila Reynolds, age 56, of North Branch passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Sheila was born on October 16, 1964, in Lapeer, MI, the daughter of Andrew and Patricia (Bowling) Haight. Sheila grew up in Lapeer and was a graduate of Lapeer High School. She attended Mott College and graduated with an associate’s degree.
She was a very active lady. She and Mark were owners of the Reynolds’s Berry Farm, the original owners of the North Branch Bakery and the Apple Barn. She also worked at Max’s Bakery and 4J’s. She taught Culinary Arts at the Lapeer County Vo-Tech. Sheila enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, bowling, rollerskating, crocheting and any kind of crafts.
Sheila is survived by her sons, Curtis (Meagan Kress) Reynolds and Kevin (Shelbi) Reynolds; her grandchildren, Tucker, Trevor, Taylor and Tyler Reynolds; her former husband, Mark (Pat) Reynolds; her brother, Dennis ( Barb) Haight; her sister, Angela Mathes; her in-laws, Ann (Dave)Waterloo, Dale (Debbie) Reynolds and Linda(Dave) Thibodeau; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father in-law and mother in-law, Roy and Marie Reynolds.
Visitation for Sheila will be on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Monday, May 24, 2021, visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Ronald Hutchinson will officiate.
