Sharon "Sherry" D. (Chambers) Chase

Sharon “Sherry” Dyann Chase, age 75, of North Branch passed February 8, 2023 at the Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Sherry was born on May 17, 1947, in Detroit, MI. the daughter of Merle and Dorothy (Romain) Chambers. North Branch was Sherry’s hometown. She was a 1965 graduate of North Branch High School.  On October 21, 1967  Sherry married Willard Chase in Marlette. She was vice-president of MK Chambers until her retirement in 2012.

She was an active member of the North Branch Business Association. Sherry was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, where she was active in the Altar Society and she was a board member of Kingston State Bank.

As a young girl, Sherry loved to ride and show horses. She even competed in rodeos. Her love then turned to her Dobermans. She enjoyed attending dog shows and showing her dogs.

Sherry is survived by her sister, Betty Hallock, her brothers, Merle “Ken” (Sandra) Chambers, Gerald “Jerry” Chambers and Robert “Bob” (Donna) Chambers, many nieces and nephews, her last remaining four legged friend, Habit.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willard and brother-in-law, Roy  Hallock.

Visitation for Sherry will be on Saturday, February, 11, 2023, 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Richard Treml will be officiating. Sherry will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery next to her husband.
