Scott Bernard Walther, age 46 , of Lapeer, MI (formerly of Mayville, MI) passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at his home. Scott was born on December 20, 1975, in Detroit, MI, the son of Charles and Louise (Kores) Walther. Scott grew up in North Branch and graduated from North Branch High School in 1994.
Scott was a kind and gentle soul. He was a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Comfort Care Unit at Devonshire in Lapeer, MI. Scott loved his job and his residents and truly was a very dedicated caregiver.
Scott’s favorite hobby was fishing and collecting lots (and lots & lots) of fishing equipment. He and his Dad are probably out fishing right now trying to catch the “Big One!”
Scott had an amazing sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He dearly loved his family and Scott will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
Scott proposed to the love of his life Lori and surprised her with an engagement ring at Christmas and they were happily planning their wedding and life together.
Scott is survived by his fiancée, Lori Beach, her daughters, Lydia and Sylvia (Lexi), his mother, Louise Walther, his sisters, Cindy (Dana) Bradshaw and Susan (Hugh Thames) Walther, his brother, Michael (Maggie) Walther, his nieces and nephews, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and his many friends.
