Scott Anthony Mroz

Scott A. Mroz, age 53, of North Branch, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at McLaren/Lapeer Regional Hospital.  Scott was born on January 10, 1967, the son of Donald and Mary (Long) Mroz.  He grew up in the North Branch area and was a graduate of Lapeer High School. Scott worked as a mechanic at Cob-Ash (Harmon Oil Company). He loved to work that was his life’s passion. He enjoyed painting and working on heavy equipment, anything that had an engine.

Scott is survived by his son, Scott Mroz Jr; his daughter, Hailey Fleming, Hailey’s mother, Melissa Mroz; and his sister, Ann Marie Mroz. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donnie Mroz.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Per family wishes cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held later in the year.
