Robert "Bob" Moran

Robert “Bob” D. Moran, 79, of North Branch passed away on October 6, 2024, peacefully at the United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital. Bob was born on December 14, 1944, in Croswell, MI, the son of Max and Betty Moran. He grew up in the Croswell area. He married Barbara Lakics on August 17, 1974. Bob retired from General Motors in 1997 after 33 years. In his retirement he loved hunting, fishing, Hershey’s Chocolate, westerns and most of all Tim Horton’s coffee.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Lori Lane of North Branch, granddaughter, Cassidy Lane of North Branch, grand dog, Jordy, 3 sweet cats, 2 ducks and his flock of adorable chickens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, his parents and brother, Max.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation has been entrusted to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.

There will be no memorial service.
