Robert Bostick Obituary

Robert L. Bostick, 87, of North Branch passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 15, 2025 with his family by his side. Robert was born on November 26, 1937 in Lapeer, the son of Floyd and Irene (Steward) Bostick. Robert grew up in Lapeer and was a 1958 graduate of Lapeer High School. Robert proudly served his country in the United Stated Army.  On October 14, 1967, he married Ruth Ann Bader at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Robert worked for Lapeer County. Robert enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and watching deer in his back yard. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and playing UNO with them.  

Robert is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann, his children, Catherine (Troy) Bostick-Tullius, Robert A. Bostick, Laurie (Michael) Richards, his grandchildren, Lisa, Thomas, Seth, Carrie, Bailey and Breiana and his great-grandson, Patrick. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father and mother-in-law, Willard and Catherine Bader.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to McLaren Hospice or North Branch American Legion Post 457.

The family will be present for visitation 3:00 P.M-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:00 P.M.  On Monday, August 18, 2025, visitation will be 9:30 A.M.-10:30 A.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M.  Rev. James Houbeck will officiate.  Robert will be laid to rest at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the North Branch American Legion Post 457.
