Obituary

Ric Bucklew, age 71, of Brown City passed away peacefully August 12, 2023 at his home.

Ric was born on August 8, 1952 in Adrian, MI where he grew up and was a 1971 graduate of Adrian High School. On April 22, 1972 Ric married Jody Kidd in Adrian, MI.

Ric was President of Tri-County Bank from 1981 to 2014. He was an active member of the Brown City Rotary Club, Moose Club and Brown City Fire Department Equipment Fund Committee, which raised money needed to purchase the Rescue Vehicle currently being used. Ric was an avid University of Michigan Wolverines fan and very loving, husband, father, Papa and brother.

Ric is survived by his loving wife Jody of 51 years, daughter; Jessica (Bucklew) Pieloch sons; Eric Bucklew and Joel Bucklew, grandchildren; Bradley, Jacob, Colby and Reese, sister; Carol Carter brother; Roger Bucklew. Ric was preceded in death by his mother; Lilllian Ostrander, stepdad; Kenneth Ostrander, and brother; Robert Bucklew.

The family has opted for a private gathering.
