Raymond Rockett Obituary

Raymond V. Rockett, age 68, of North Branch, formerly of Oxford, MI., passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2022 at his home. Raymond was born on December 9, 1953, the son of Virgil and Leona (Matthews) Rockett.   He was a fabricator of many things.  Raymond  liked to joke around with everyone.  He enjoyed working on his cars and taking care of his yard. He loved his cats, but especially loved spending time with his girls and grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by us all. He loved everyone and would talk to anyone. Raymond was great at making you laugh, he always had a smile on his face and had a good sense of humor.  Anyone who knew him always had a story or at least said he was a great man.  He was a great father, husband, grandfather, and he thought the world of all of us.  The world lost a great man. Thank you for all you did for the family.  We love you so much and can’t believe you’re gone.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 45 years, Belinda Rockett, his daughters, Tiffany (Jeff Reamer) Rockett and Tamara (Carly)  Rockett, his grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Reamer.  He was preceded in death by his parent s, Virgil and Leona Rockett ,  his brothers, Ronald and Gerald Rockett.

A memorial service for Raymond will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at his residence.
