Ralph E. Welch

 Ralph Welch, age 85, of Clifford passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the United Service Hospice of Marlette Regional Hospital. Ralph was born on July 15, 1935, the son of Allen and Mary (Upleger) Welch. He grew up in the Romeo area.  In 1985, he married Barbara O’Neill in North Branch, MI. He worked in construction and farming. Ralph enjoyed playing solitaire, doing puzzles, driving his tractor and taking care of his yard.   In his younger days, he even sky dived.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Sandy Roscoe; his brothers, Clarence Welch and Archie Welch; his many nieces and nephews; and his special family, the Buckners.

 Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Barb; his parents; his siblings, Calvin, Jim, Larry, Norm, Irene, Hazel Clara and Margaret.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the North Branch Emergency Aid/Thrift Shop.

Visitation for Ralph will be on Saturday, March 6, 2021, 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Ted Alkins officiating. Ralph will be laid to rest next to his wife, Barb, at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
