Paul Russell Will
12.29.1958 – 9.16.2022
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Russell Will on Sept.16, 2022, at the age of 63. He took his final breath surrounded by his immediate family and brother Bill by his side and left us peacefully.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Julia Will; his sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Will Jr, Jessica Will, Jonathon Will, Charity Will, Dustin Will, Amanda Will; and his grandchildren, Logan Will, Sage Will, Ethan Will, Avery Will, Leia Will; his mother of 93 years, Bernice Will, and his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Sharon Will. Preceded by his father, Bill Will.
Born in Port Huron, MI, Paul spent his childhood in Mt Clemens attending Lanse Creuse High School. Paul and Julia were high school sweethearts. They got married in 1979. For their 20th anniversary, they renewed their vows in Jamaica.
Paul was an ambitious hard-working man who did many ventures in his life. His latest was Northwood Gardens Nursery in North Branch, MI. In 2006, Paul and Julia decided to sell the nursery and moved to the Caribbean where he worked as the underground operational manager for a telecommunication company. During the pandemic they resided in Tampa, Florida before making the decision to move back to North Branch, MI to be close to the family.
Paul was an outgoing fun-loving family man. Through the years, Paul and Julia traveled to many places together. He loved being outdoors, enjoyed nature, fishing, and playing with his dogs that he considered his fur babies. Paul touched the hearts of everyone around him, everywhere he went. He had friends around the world he called family. He believed there is good in people; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Family was always first and he created an atmosphere for everyone to be together.
Paul lived a full and adventurous life. His outlook summed up in one of his favorite songs; What a Wonderful World:
“The Colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of the people going by
I see friends shaking hands, sayin’ “How do you do?’
They’re really sayin’ “I Love you.”
Paul’s spirit remains with us, and his legacy will carry through his family. In lieu of the flowers, please make donation to the American Diabetes Association in his name.
