Paul Stevens Marotz

Paul Stevens Marotz, age 50, of Fostoria, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Paul was born in Lapeer on January 22, 1972, the son of Herman and Edna (Earehart) Marotz. He grew in the Metamora area and was a 1991 graduate of Lapeer East High School.  On July 7, 2017, he married Candi Newton in Fostoria. He proudly served his country for 18 years in the Army as a CAV scout.  Paul enjoyed playing video games, rock picking, watching wrestling, but most of all he loved irritating his family. He loved his family and his country with all his heart.

Paul is survived by his wife, Candi; his children, Kaylie, Laura and Aaron; his grandson, Kollin ; his father, Herman Marotz; his siblings, Tina (Dave) Hill, James (Jennifer) Demotte and Tucker (Donna) Marotz; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.

Memorials in Paul’s name may be made to any Veteran’s organization.

Per Paul’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Fostoria Memorial Park. Military honors will be conducted.
