Patricia "Pat" A. Wilson

Patricia A. Wilson, 70, of Shelby Township passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at her home with her family at her side.  Pat was born on November 24, 1953 in Sandusky, MI, the daughter of Spencer and Frances (McGinnis) Wilson. Pat grew up in the North Branch area and was a 1972 graduate of North Branch Area Schools. She attended Indiana University, 1975-1978, graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in 1981 and later got her BSN at the University of Michigan. Pat was a register nurse at St. Joe’s Hospital of Pontiac for 35 plus years. After a day of work you often found Pat rocking the little babies in the NIC unit. Pat enjoyed golfing, playing euchre, reading and doing crossword puzzles in Ink. She loved to travel especially the trips she took to Ireland.

Pat is survived by her sister, Jane Stevens, her brother, Spencer “Ed” (Patsy) Wilson, nieces and nephews, Lisa (Larry) Clarkson, Lori (Dan) Adamic, Chris (Julie) Wilson, Steven (Julia) Wilson, great-nieces and nephews, Kristine Clarkson, Timothy (Holly) Clarkson, Jessica (Kevin) Murphy, Jaclyn (Daniel Sheldon) Adamic, Hunter Wilson, Spencer Wilson, Cody  (Maryann) Wilson, great-great-niece and nephew, Eleanor “Peanut” Seitz and Daniel Murphy plus numerous special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Gene Stevens.

A memorial service for Pat will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. visitation 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. prior to the service at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in North Branch. More information will be available at a later date.
