Patricia “Pat” Ann Barry passed away peacefully September 4, 2025 at McLaren/ Lapeer Region Hospital. Pat was born on December 7, 1940, in Pontiac, the daughter of James Ernest and Irene (Main) Locke. Pat grew up in the Pontiac area. Pat married Patrick Barry on January 25, 1964. Pat was a EMT for the North Branch Area Ambulance Service for many years. She was an artist, who enjoyed painting, also knitting and crocheting. In her past times she also enjoyed computer games, Star Trek, reading science fiction. She was a history bluff, enjoying interacting in historical events.
Pat was a people person, who enjoyed visiting with whoever was around.
Pat is survived by her husband of 61 1/2years, Patrick, son Patrick Barry and daughter, Heather Barry and her husband Ken Renaud. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Deborah Barry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan.
The family will be present for visitation on Friday, September 19, 2025, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel -Martin Funeral Home. On Saturday, September 20, 2025, visitation will be 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Burnside Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Jame Houbeck will officiate. Pat will be laid to rest at West Deerfield Cemetery.
