Nathan L. Quertermous, age 62, of Lapeer passed away on May 18, 2019 at his home with his family at his side. Nathan was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 9, 1957, the son of the late Floyd and Deloris (Baize) Quertermous Sr. He grew up in Fostoria and was a 1976 graduate of Mayville High School. Nathan married Faith Cain on November 27, 1993 in Deerfield Township. He retired from Lapeer County Medical Care Facility where he worked 37 years as a housekeeper/custodian. Nathan enjoyed watching the reruns of Bonanza, Gunsmoke and Sponge Bob. He loved sitting outside watching the birds at the feeder.
Nathan is survived by his loving wife, Faith; his daughters, Jessica Quertermous and Angela (Zachary) Taylor; his siblings, Debbie Kelly, Patty Deroseau and Floyd Quertermous Jr. He will also be missed by Benny, his pet terrier.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Visitation for Nathan will be on Saturday, May 25, 2019, 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor David Pompo officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Branch.
