Nancy June (Klems) McDonald

Nancy McDonald, age 90, of North Branch, passed away on December 24, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Nancy was born on June 16, 1931, in Breckenridge, PA, the daughter of Mathew and Ella Mae (Huey) Klems, the youngest of 13 children.   Nancy grew up in Pennsylvania where she met, and then married Robert McDonald on June 30, 1950. Robert and Nancy moved to Michigan in 1954 with their 2 daughters, Susan and Sharon.   Nancy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, playing Yahtzee and watching the “Golden Girls”. Nancy loved spending time with her family and being a grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Susan (James) Howard, her grandchildren, Shelly (Benjamin) Coulter, Timothy (Jaime) Howard, Carl (Megan) Howard, Nicole (Troy) Harris and Robert Bobcean, her 9 great-grandchildren and her son-in-law, Gary Bobcean.  She was preceded in death by husband, her daughter, Sharon Bobcean, her parents and her siblings.

The family will be present for visitation on 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Wednesday, December 29, 2021 visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Howard Hipes and Rev. Robert Starr will officiate.  Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband at White Chapel Cemetery.
