Nancy Chappel Obituary

Nancy Chappel, age 78, of Lapeer passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at The Pines of Lapeer with her family at her side. Nancy was born on May 17, 1941 in Montebele Rural, California. Nancy was the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Maynard) Rock. At the age of 9 months the Rock family moved to Michigan. Nancy grew up in the North Lake area and graduated from Lakeville High School.

On June 7, 1959, Nancy married Albert F. Chappel at the Methodist Church in Columbiaville, Mi. Nancy was a real estate agent. It was her life, she loved selling homes to families and help making their dream home come true. Al and Nancy spent 25 of their retirement years in Las Vegas and enjoyed their Michigan company.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Al Chappel; her daughters, Wanda Allen and Tami Chappel; her brother, Rick (Linda) Rock; her grandchildren, Tianna Spencer, Holly (Cory) Severn, Nicole (Adam) Toole, Brandi Murphy and Tiffany (Rick) Raymond; and her great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Ella, Dylan, Lucas, Ethan and Lanie. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Constance Prevatas.

Per Nancy wishes direct cremation has taken place.
