Murney K. Bell, age 74, of Fostoria, a legend in his own right, put up his spurs for the very last time on August 25, 2019. He was surrounded by his loved ones on his own terms at his beloved Maple View Farms. He has traveled the world and rode many trails in his lifetime. A cowboy that fought a courageous battle with cancer, sat tall on his saddle and rode through Heaven’s gate. Happy trails cowboy to you until we meet again.
He was born October 31, 1944. After high schools he joined the Army as a 101st Paratrooper during the Vietnam War. After fighting for his country, he became an ironworker and constructed many buildings and bridges. His love for the farm, raising cattle and acquiring many horses continued thru retirement. His passion and respect for his horses and finding new adventures on the trail was his greatest love. Murney was loved and admired by all. He made an impact everywhere he went. He had a kind of charisma that appealed to all ages. He will be sorely missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
