Michael M. Pasternak Jr.

Michael M. Pasternak Jr., age 92, of North Branch passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Fisher’s Senior Care and Rehab Center. Mike was born on December 20, 1929, in Detroit, the son of Michael and Anna (Onysak) Pasternak. He was a graduate of North Branch Area Schools. Mike was dairy farmer. In his younger years, he enjoyed traveling and going to car and air shows.  He enjoyed reading National Geographic and Life magazines. He loved spending time with his family and friends.                 

Mike is survived by his nephew, John (Tammy) Pasternak, his niece, Judy Rappuhn, his niece-in-law, Debbie Pasternak, his great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Eugene, John and Fred, his sister-in-law, Louise Pasternak,  his nephew, Fred Pasternak Jr. and his great-nephew, James Pasternak.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Fred Pasternak Memorial Scholarship.

Visitation for Mike will be on Monday, April 4, 2022, 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M.  Rev. Richard Treml and Deacon Peter Lynch will be officiating. Mike will be laid to rest at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
