Michael Douglas O’Rourke of North Branch passed away on the night of August 26, 2023. He was born on June 29, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann, his two sons Derrick and Brandon, his granddaughter Kallaya O’Rourke. Mike was an avid car and movie enthusiast, retiring from Lake Orion General Motors in 2006.  Having a love for Michigan’s natural beauty, Mike loved exploring our Great Lakes coastline and campgrounds with his family.  As Mike makes his final journey, a great man will be missed deeply and shall live on by the strict values he set for himself and the ones he loved, remaining in our hearts forever.

Per Michael’s wishes cremation has taken place.
