Michael C. Krajewski

 Michael C. Krajewski, age 63, from North Branch passed away on April 1. 2020 at McLaren/Lapeer Regional Hospital. Mike was born on June 7, 1956 in Detroit, MI., the son of Richard and Angeline (Dzielski) Krajewski. Mike grew up in Warren, MI and graduated from Fitzgerald Warren High School.

Mike retired from Chrysler after 37 years of service. Mike was a strong family man and supported his children and grandchildren in all of their endeavors. He was an active member of the community. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer and SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in North Branch. He loved his ponies. Mike and his wife, Mary, volunteered for “Personal Ponies” an non-profit organization for handicap children.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughter Amanda (Paul) Gurd; his grandchildren Xavier and Alexis Gurd; his step-children, Donnie (Ariel) Hightower and Stearns (Sierra) Podvin and 5

grandchildren; his mother, Angeline Krajewski; his sisters, Kathleen Krajewski and Cheryl (Joe) Hair;  many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his father.

In lieu of Flowers memorials may be directed to SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

A private visitation will be held for Mike on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Mike will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Burnside Catholic Cemetery. A Funeral Mass for Mike will be held later this summer.
