Michael T. Jones

Michael T. Jones, age 65, of Imlay City passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his home. Michael was born on May 6, 1954 in Royal Oak the son of Ernest and Loretta (Robinson) Jones. Michael grew up the Madison Heights area and moved to Imlay City when he was a senior in high school. He was a 1972 graduate of Imlay City High School.

Michael retired from Chrysler where he worked as a crane operator and die setter. Michael loved anything that had to do with the outdoors, hunting, fishing, woodworking and watching wrestling on television. He enjoyed all the time spent up north at Honor, Mi with family and friends.  He was John Wayne in all his ways. He was a second dad to his younger siblings, his nieces and nephews. Michael was always there for them.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Floretta (Richard) Suida, Sherry (Jerry) Eldridge, Tammy (David) Sealey and Leonard (Jillian Gage) Jones; his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Jones and Donna Rivera; many nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Ernest Lee Roy Jones, Bennie Jones, Anthony Jones, Barry Jones and Kimberly Higgason; his sister-in-law Susan Jones and brother-in-law Robert Higgason

 Memorials may be directed to the family.

Visitation for Michael will be on Friday, January 3, 2020, 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be January 3, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Kay Leitelt officiating. Michael will be laid to rest at Imlay City Township Cemetery.
