Memphis Robert Peel, 18, from North Branch passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Memphis was born July 24, 2007, in Lapeer, to Bradley and Michelle (Curell) Peel. Memphis grew up in North Branch and attended Lapeer County Ed Tech where he made so many friends and brightened everyone’s day.
Memphis enjoyed his life and touched the lives of everyone that met him. He loved most being around people, he always had a smile for everyone. He was a member of 4-H and enjoyed showing off his lambs especially during “fair week”. As an avid Detroit Tigers fan, you could find him watching their games on tv. Camping and being in nature added to the busy life that he had.
Memphis is survived by his parents, sister Remi, Grandmother Marie Curell and Grandmother Connie Curell, Grandparents Pam and Joe Peel, Uncle Marc Curell and Aunt Carly Curell, Uncle Adam Peel and Aunt Janelle (Steve) Brown. Many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Charles Curell.
