Melinda (Adams) Gilson

Melinda Gilson, age 47, of Lapeer passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at McLaren Lapeer Region. Melinda was born on February 4, 1974, in Lapeer, MI,     the daughter of Richard and Darlene (Thompson) Adams. Melinda grew up in the Almont area and was a 1992 graduate of Almont High School.  She worked as a homecare giver. She belong to T.O.P.S. Melinda enjoyed listening to music. She loved her cats and spending time with her grandkids.

Melinda is survived by her children, Darlene (Ethan) Russell and Dylan Gilson, her grandchildren, Kaelyn, Bryson, Audriauna, Bentley, Makaila and Delaney, her sisters, Brenda (Todd) Bagby and Laura (Chad) Leyes, her brother, Dereck Adams, her five nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, her aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will be present for visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021, 12:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Funeral service for Melinda will be at  3:00 P.M. with Rev. Ronald Hutchinson officiating.
