Matthew Leo Vielhaber (1974-2023)

Our beloved father, son, uncle and brother, Matt Vielhaber, passed on 8/12/23 in Fife Lake, Michigan.  Matt was such a bright spot in our lives with his kind spirit and infectious giggle, and we will miss him more than words can say.  He was preceded in death by his father Harold Vielhaber, mother June Vielhaber, stepmother Darla Vielhaber and daughter Daisy Vielhaber.  He was survived by his son Devin Vielhaber, daughter Alyssa Vielhaber, brothers: Pete (Janet) Vielhaber, Richard (Cindy) Vielhaber, Karl (Kristine) Vielhaber and sister Junjoy Vielhaber.

Matt loved his children and his family above all else.  He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, classic rock music and all Michigan sports teams—especially the Detroit Tigers.  Matt would do anything for his family and loved spending time with them and sharing stories of his life. 

For all those who loved Matt, there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the service at 1:00 PM all at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home, North Branch, MI. 

As Matt was an avid sports fan, please wear your favorite Michigan sports team t-shirt or jersey.
