Marvin Dale Thompson

Marvin Dale Thompson, age 65, of North Branch passed away March 28, 2023 at his home.  Marv was born on October 7, 1957, in Lapeer, MI; the son of Jack and Ethel (Abbey) Thompson.  Marv grew up in the North Branch area and was a 1977 graduate of North Branch High School. 

Marv worked for Production Threaded Parts in North Branch for many years.  He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and riding his side by side.  He was also a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in North Branch.

Marv is survived by his sister-in-law; JoAnn Thompson, nephew; Darek (Kathi) Thompson, nieces; Shelia (Dax) Canty, Cherri (Mark) Cooper and many great nieces and nephews.

Marv was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Bradley and Edward.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

The family will be present for visitation on Thursday, April 6, 2023, 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Service for Marvin will be on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in North Branch. Pastor Josh Gates will be officiating. Marvin will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery, North Branch.
