Mark Alan Ondrajka

Mark Alan Ondrajka, age 58, of North Branch passed away on August 9, 2019, at his home.  Mark was born on March 2, 1961, in Marlette, MI, the son of John and Dolly (Leitermann) Ondrajka.  Mark grew up in the Marlette area and was a 1979 graduate from Marlette High School.

On April 22, 2017, Mark married Margaret Lepine at St. James Lutheran Church in North Branch.  He worked at Marlette Elevator and was a manager at Auto Value in Marlette.  Mark also worked at Tri-County Equipment in the parts department.

Mark enjoyed collecting John Deere memorabilia and antiques. He loved being outside and taking care of his mini farm-his little zoo of animals and kids. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time shopping at Menards and camping trips with the family.  Mark was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. He was a very active member of the church and was Sunday school teacher.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, his children, Eric Ondrajka, Andy Ondrajka, Amber (Tyler) Terry and Aaron (Kelsey) Ondrajka,  his grandchildren,

Icelynn, Everleigh, Tatum, Kinley, Addison and one on the way, Emerson, his parents, John and Dolly Ondrajka.  He is also survived by his brother Dennis (Robin) Ondrajka and his sister, Christa (Marc) House. He will also be missed by his faithful four-legged friend, Nellie.

Memorials may be directed to St. James Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.

Visitation for Mark will be on Monday, August 12, 2019, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel in North Branch, MI.  On Tuesday, August, 13, 2019, the family will be present for visitation at St. James Lutheran Church, North Branch, MI, 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Pastor James Saatkamp will officiate. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery.
