Marianne Susan Wells, 56, of Silverwood passed away on June 27, 2024 at her home after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on September 30, 1967 in Lapeer to Robert and Carole (Patterson) Kinch. Marianne grew up in the North Branch area and was a 1985 graduate of North Branch High School. On July 18, 1992 she married Robert Wells in Armada. Marianne was a caretaker working in various homes in the area.
Marianne enjoyed cooking, country music and taking care of her family. She was a great mom, who loved her children and grandbabies, who were her “pride and joy.” She was a lady with great faith in the Lord and was a great prayer warrior for others.
Marianne is survived by her loving husband, Robert, her children, Blaise Wells, Cecilia (Montana) Fee, Michael Wells, Gerard Wells, Francis Wells, grandchildren, Lucas, Aaron, Isabella, Gianna, Elijah and one on the way, sister, Linda (James) Wolf, brother, Jeffrey (Theresa) Kinch, sister-in-law, Cathy Kinch, many nieces, nephews and the Wells family She was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Margaret, son, Aaron, her parents, brother, Mark Kinch.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
The family will be present for visitation on Monday, July 1, 2024, 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Visitation on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 will be 11:00 A.M.-8:00 P.M. with rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Marlette, with visitation 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M., prior to the service. Rev. Sama Muma will be officiating. Marianne will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Clifford.
