Lucretia (Cole) Cichoracki

Lucretia Cichoracki, age 83, of Davison formerly of North Branch, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital.  Lucretia was born on July 13, 1938, in Lapeer, MI, the daughter of John and Bertha (Johnson) Cole. Lucretia grew up in the Lapeer/Oxford area and was a graduate of Oxford High School. She married the love of her life Robert Cichoracki on June 26, 1965. She enjoyed bingo, rolling coins, knitting scarves for her grandchildren, watching Jeopardy, garage sales, gardening and sitting in the sun. She loved spending time with her family.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her great joy.

Lucretia is survived by her daughters, Luann (Michael) Holcomb, Nancy (Luis) Ortiz, Linda Goss, Pam Martin, her 11 grandchildren, her 13 great-grandchildren, her sister, Geneva Johnson, many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, her brothers, Clarence, Henry and John, her son-in-law, Glen E. Martin, her grandsons, Anthony Goss, Glen Martin and Nicholas Martin.

The family will be present for visitation on Friday, January 14, 2022, 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Joseph Carpenter will officiate.  Lucretia will be laid to rest next to her husband at Greenwood Cemetery in North Branch.
