Linda Marie Morse

Linda Marie Morse, age 67, of Clifford passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Fisher Senior Care and Rehabilitation in Mayville.  Linda was born in Cass City, on May 19, 1956, the daughter of Duane and Erma (Spear) Morse.  She grew up in Clifford graduating in 1974 from Marlette High School.

Linda worked in housekeeping at Fisher Rehabilitation Center in Mayville for 38 years and weekends at Timberline in Caro.  She was a very strong-willed person and cared for those that worked under her as well as the elderly she cared for.  She loved to travel, camp, bowl, golf, play cards and was a big Michigan, Detroit Tigers and Lions Fan.  Linda also loved her family and spending time with them was very important to her.

Linda is survived by her brother; Richard Morse, sisters; Diane (Thomas) Peruski, Brenda (Edwin) Watz, Karen (Walter) Harris, Connie (William) LaBlanc and Patricia (Mike) White, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Christopher Morse and her beloved dogs Snoopy and Charlie.

Visitation for Linda will be Thursday, February 29, 2024 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home, North Branch, with pastor Jason Cullin.  Cremation to follow, she will be laid to rest next to her parents in Marlette City Cemetery at  later date.
