Lawrence "Larry " D. Radzwion

Lawrence “Larry” Radzwion, age 75, of North Branch, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at his home with his family at his side. Larry was born on September 6, 1943, in Detroit, MI, the son of John and Martha (Bader) Radzwion. Larry grew up in the Detroit area. In later years the family moved to North Branch, Larry was a 1962 graduate of North Branch High School.

On October 17, 1969, Larry married the love of his life, Edna Campbell in Lapeer, MI. He proudly served in the U.S Army as a clerical clerk. He retired from GM, where he worked in the packing and shipping department. Larry was a member of the North Branch American Legion Post 457.   Larry enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, the outdoors and recording movies. Larry was a devoted husband and father. Larry loved spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his children, Dawn (Steve) Rienstra Freeland, Dionne (Dale) Pincumbe, Denise (Joseph) Wesolowski, Dwayne (Kathy)Rienstra and Dwight (Laura) Rienstra; his grandchildren, Dwight Jacob Rienstra, Dylan Rienstra, Edward Rienstra, Kayla (Ryan Flynn) Rienstra, Kristen Rienstra, Steve (Amanda) Freeland, Joseph Wesolowski, Courtney (Zachery) Thibodeau and Austin (Sara Simmons) Pincumbe and 11 great-grandchildren.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edna, his grandson, Justin Freeland, his 3 sisters and 7 brothers.

The family will be present for visitation on Wednesday, September 4, 2019,  10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M.  with Pastor Brent Jerome officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery.  Military honors will be conducted by the North Branch American Legion Post 457.
