Larry Lambert

Larry Lambert, age 83, of North Branch, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Grand Blanc.  Larry was born May 17, 1939, son of Fred and Rachel (Allen) Lambert in Saginaw.

Larry grew up in Vassar Michigan where he graduated from Vassar High School in 1957.

Larry attended Central Michigan University graduating with a Masters Degree in Education.

On November 9, 1963 he married Karen Patnick in Saginaw Michigan.

Larry started a career in teaching at Pinconning Area School, after that he became Principal for North Branch Schools in 1974, retiring in 1995.

Larry loved to fish, bowl, golfing and play cards pinnacle being his game of choice.  He was also a very active member of the North Branch Lions Club.  He will be missed by many.

Larry is survived by his wife Karen, son Kirk Lambert, daughters; Kristi Lambert and Rachel Lambert and granddaughter Lauren Stern.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Michigan Leader Dog for the Blind.

The family will be present for visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Friday, November 11, 2022 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. with the funeral at 1 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home, North Branch.  Pastor Tom Sayers officiating.   

Larry will be laid to rest in the West Deerfield Cemetery.
