Kevin Ray Hilts

Kevin Ray Hilts, age 64, of Fostoria passed away on December 4, 2023 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital. Kevin was born in Lapeer on December 7, 1958, the son of Robert and Cleo (Coe) Hilts. Kevin grew up in the Deerfield Corner 16 area. He attended North Branch Area Schools and was a 1977 graduate. On September 6, 1980, he married Patricia McIntyre. Kevin worked as a residential construction contractor. Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and morel hunting. In his younger days, he enjoyed a good ride on his motorcycle.

Kevin is survived by his son, Rob (Jody) Hilts, his daughter, Amanda (Daniel Shepherd) Hilts, his four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Robert, Brayden and Conlan, his sister, Deb (Stan) Cichorackli, his brother, Keith, his brother-in-law, David Nellenbach, and his nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents and his sister, Kay Nellenbach.

Per Kevin’s wishes cremation has been taken place. A graveside service at Rich Township  Cemetery will be held at a later date.  Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral will update the website when a date is set.
