Keith Alan Zimmermann

Keith Alan Zimmermann, 51, of North Branch passed away on October 3, 2025 at United Hospice Service of Aspire Hospital. Keith was born on April 9, 1974, in Detroit, the son of  Norman and Gail (Love) Zimmermann.  Keith graduated from Southgate High School, Canton Ohio.

 Keith was a Party Animal-“Life of the Party!”-always wearing a smile. Keith could be described as a University of Michigan fan and Food and Oldies.  He loved helping others by doing the walk for warmth, collecting coats for winter and collecting food for the food pantry. He loved working. He did janitorial work at MMI in Clare and Teamworks in Lapeer. He was an outstanding athlete for the Special Olympics, swimming and bowling was his passion. He loved everyone equally and found ways to make us better people. Keith loved all of us as much as we loved him.

Keith is survived by his parents, Norman and Gail Zimmermann, brother, Eric (Lisa) Zimmermann of Belton, South Carolina, sister, Kristin (Kevin) Kreiner of North Branch, niece, Andrea (Stephen) Roersma, nephew, Alex Kreiner, Uncle Bruce (Paula) Love, Uncle Roi Love and 9 cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and Uncle Russell Love.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Teamworks of Lapeer or Special Olympics.

 In keeping with the family wishes cremation has been entrusted to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Keith will be buried at West Deerfield Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held later next summer.
