June "Junebug" Irene (Wilt) Libner

June Irene “Junebug” Libner, 74, of Columbiaville passed away on December 26, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. June was born on May 9, 1950 in Caro, MI, the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Waugh) Wilt. She grew up in the Columbiaville area and graduated in 1970 from Lakeville Memorial High School. She married Max Libner. June worked many years at the Lapeer Lanes Bowling Alley. She loved shopping at Wal-Mart, doing puzzles, going on road trips in the country and the Green Bay Packers. Most all of all June loved her nieces and nephews. They all hold a special place in her heart.

June is survived by her siblings, Donna (David) Harper, Dawn Wilt, Ray Wilt, Charles (Debbie) Wilt, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two infant twin sisters and her fur baby, Rexie.

The family would like to thank their niece, Bethany Smith for taking wonderful care of Aunt June.

The family will be present for visitation on Friday, December 27, 2024, 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. On Saturday, December 28, 2024, visitation will be 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M with funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.  Chaplain Rodney Sanderson-Smith will officiate. June will be laid to rest at West Deerfield Cemetery next to her husband.
