Joseph M. Kozlowski, 59, of North Branch passed away at his home. Joe was born in Marlette on October 6, 1966, the son of Joseph and Elaine (Kohn) Kozlowski. Joe grew up in North Branch and was a 1984 graduate of North Branch High School. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a medic. He worked as a carpenter for 20 years then transition into IT.
Joe loved to draw and sculpt. He was very artistic. He enjoyed spending time with his sons “doing boy stuff,” going to movies and concerts. Joe was a fantastic father and his sons were his world.
Joe is survived by his sons, Maxwell Michael Kozlowski, Alexander Rossman Kozlowski, father, Joseph Kozlowski, Siblings, Bryan (Regina) Thomas, Kim (Linda) Thomas, Jolene (Paul) Kreiner, mother of his children, Amy (Stevenson) Kozlowski, Uncle Ron Kozlowski, Aunt Carolyn Cloutier, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Kozlowski, sister and brother-in-law, Beth (Gary) Bennett, his wife, Melissa Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Michael Snow will officiate. A private burial will be held at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Nort Branch American Legion Post 457.
