Joseph L Taylor

Joseph L. Taylor, age 46, of North Branch, passed away Tuesday, October 10 2023 at Lapeer Regional Hospital.  Joe was born December 3, 1976 to Jeff and Diane (Jones) Taylor in Warren Michigan.  Joe grew up in the Metamora area and attended Lapeer East High School. 

On June 9, 2009 he married Anna Goretski in their back yard in North Branch.

Joe was a Metal Fabricator, auto body worker and was really good at his job.  He loved working on cars and dune buggies, and hanging out with the guys in the garage.  He also enjoyed being outside and riding side by sides and was a real Dare Devil.

Joe is survived by his wife; Anna, sons; Ean Taylor and Lance (Noelle) Chapman, daughter; Elfriede Taylor, grandchildren; Naarah, Elliette and William, mother; Diane Mason, father; Jeff  (Laura) Taylor, sisters; Everilee (Roger) Hamilton and Jessie (Tim) Stackhouse, niece; Mollie Hamilton, best friend, Tim Drake and fur baby, Betty.  Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joe’s name may be directed to American Diabetes Association.

Visitation for Joe will be Monday, October 16, 2023, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home in North Branch.  Cremation to follow.
