John "Jack" Belland Obituary

John V. (Jack) Belland, age 78, of North Branch passed away on December 16, 2020. Jack was born on December 12, 1942, in Alpena, MI, the son of Victor and Lois Kathleen ( Dolson) Belland. He grew up in the Alpena area. Jack worked as a machine repairman for various companies in the area. Jack married Elizabeth “Betty” Skiba, the love of his life, on January 9, 1965 in Fenton, MI. Jack enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was a very outgoing person. He never met a stranger because there was never such a person.

Jack is survived by sons, Victor (Kimberly) of Loganville, GA and Keith (Tami) of North Branch; his 2 grandsons, John (Madeline) Belland and Joshua (Alicia Willey) Belland; his sister, Donna Petitpren and his special four-legged companion, Godzilla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents; his brother, Patrick Belland and his sister, Anna Boucher.

Per Jack’s wishes there will be no service.
